Vancouver Island, BC, off Canada's west coast, has a thriving Buddhist community with groups practising in various traditions including Soto and Vietnamese Zen, the Kagyu, Nyingma, Sakya and Bon schools of Tibet, Pure Land and Theravada.

The aim of this site is to provide a central point on-line where Vancouver Island groups, their global affiliates, independent practitioners and anyone else out there can share information, ideas and resources with each other.

May this site be a useful pit-stop for all who come upon it while surfing on-line Samsara.
